You can now configure if each user can delete his/her own documents (i.e., documents created by that user). The "Rights" option of User Manager in DocuMan Configurator now has a new option called "Delete own documents". By default, no user will now have rights to delete their documents once created, unless specifically granted that right by the DocuMan Administrator. To enable this feature, a new field has been added to the MySQL database, for which you must download and execute this script.
»
If a project has downloaded documents, you will not be able to delete it. Similarly, you will not be able to delete the working project.
»
Even after deleting a project, you will no longer be able to reuse the project number. This is to safeguard accidental overwriting of any remaining documents in the project, since documents on the server are not deleted when the project is deleted.
»
We are now dropping the fourth number from the versioning system (i.e., the next version will be 1.1.3 instead of 1.1.2.1)
»
Download the latest version of the DocuMan Configurator. This is required to edit the "Delete own documents" right for users, as mentioned in the first point above.

We have implemented a new bug tracking system using the world standard Bugzilla software. Please visit http://www.deltacadd.com/bugs and click on "Open a new Bugzilla account" and follow the on screen instructions. Once you have confirmed your account successfully, you can login and submit your bug reports by clicking on "Enter a new bug report" and then clicking "DocuMan 2007" in the list of products. The new system will provide us with a verifiable tracking system as well as a system by which any user can see if a bug has been previously encountered and its solution, if any. Of course, you can also suggest enhancements to DocuMan with the same system.

Please note that we discourage e-mail and telephone bug reports.
