PanelBase is a unique item-code generation utility which codifies each component with a 15-character code. It has the intelligence to automatically create new code based on item class parameters that can be dynamically defined.
These codes are guaranteed to be unique for the company. It follows a need-based philosophy for generating the item codes, thereby reducing the time taken to migrate from any existing item master.
PanelBase allows the definition of item classes, sub-classes, makes and technical parameters for individual subclasses. For example, an Ammeter could have an item code as EAM-E-AAAA0-002, which could mean an Ammeter of Enercon make with various technical parameters.
